    Default Talquin Weekend Report

Well, We made the first trip of the season. Between two boats, two fish put in the boat (throwbacks and not one in my boat.) Saw a lot of boats Saturday but didn't seen many fish being caught. If the old depth finder is true, the fish are there but simply not biting.
Friday afternoon I didn't seen many fish on the scene but Saturday morning they were there. Steel curtian, month of Haverys and every deep hole around that area held fish. One postive thing about all this---"It has to get better!"

I did break the trim button on my trottle. Anyone every changed one? Don't look to bad but when I pulled it a part I think the little spring inside went flying! At least that whats the part diagram shows---a spring and I don;t have one.
