Thread: Been out for a few days.

    Tx's guys for the info.
    I take my blood pressure/heart rate every time before I workout and last thing, after workout.
    Am around 140/85, sometimes a little higher, sometimes a little lower, etc.
    So, I think I'm fairly OK at this time, etc....
    Yeah, Stints don't seem like lighthearted things to deal with.
    But, why/what, did your heath conditions cause the occurrence that led to having to have stints?
    Is there some kind of conditioning/dieting lifestyle that led to this/or/ could increase in the prevention of this ?
    Or, is it just one of them things that can/does happen when ya get to our age, etc.??

    Live fast, party hard, smoke a lot more than I should, love bacon, sausage, the grilled fat on steaks, you name it.
    Age: Does not matter. People like me just go till they can't I guess. All ways have a good time, too many beers, pack and a half a day, 15 cups of coffee a day, you name it. Had a good time and now wondering if cutting back could have changed things. See people 20 years older doing the same and no reprocussions, so who knows. I am 56, but have done more, had more fun and experenced more than people a lot older than I. What can I say.
    Oh, one thing I have found (years ago) as far as a sleep aid goes. Stay off the chemicals. Go strictly organic. Head down to Walgreens or GNC and get what is called Melatonin. It is not a chemical and is something that the brain produces normally. The older we get, the less it produces, but it is what tells the body, "Hey dude, your sleepy, lets go to bed." Safe is 10 mg per night. Take one or two 3 mg tabs about 30 min before bedtime. No way to get hooked on it since it isn't a "drug". Just my opinion best you can do. Only side effect is....it enhances dreams. No kidding.

    glad to hear things are going better dusty,,as for something to do.....our buddy Russ now has his new lineup of tv shows posted for your viewing pleasure,,,even has one from down in your neck of the swamp,,and one from loz,,,take care fuzzy

    Sorry to hear about the stints. I had a scare a couple years ago. Found out about "Natto K". Buy it at the health food store. It will dissolve blood clots and will help clean the artery walls. I am stint free today and am on no prescriptions and feel great. Check it out. I will be down in Feb to escape the Ice age. Happy fishing.
