Stayed there many years ago as Chuck Auten's guest. The owner, Rusty Leverette, was still alive. Typically, you won't find 5 Star hotel scenario at ANY fish-related lodging. IMHO, this location/hospitality/cleanliness IS 5 Lake talquin lodge for fishing intent. Bait/tackle/ramp all in one location and as mentioned, Country Boys restaurant is convenient and good value for your buck! Lake talquin lodge Probably still owned/operated by Leverette family.
