First time i ever heard about eating the fins was a couple years ago watching a video of Shotgun Red cooking Blue gills.
He went on and on over how good they were and how he and his siblings fought over them.
I cooked up a few just like he did, and while i enjoyed the fish there wont be any fighting over the fins coming from me.
Just pass me that bag of chips and you can eat all the fins. lol
One thing i do feel a bit guilty about is not making fish stock from the carcasses.
Freezer space is the issue for me unless i would use it right away.
