Tom and I moved our Wed trip back to George's Lake today. Started pushing jigs at first light and had some double hook ups but managed to lose the second fish while netting the first one. We landed a dozen but half was under our slot. I spent most of the morning learning my new LiveScope. Cool watch fish come up and take a jig. Not so cool when they swim up take a look at leave. Reminds me a lot of ice fishing watching fish swimming around the bait but not taking it. We did have a couple of times when I could see 5 to 8 fish swim to the jigs and we hooked up. It is a little disheartening to see them dive for the bottom when the boat gets with in 25 feet of them.

Today was the first time fishing the lake that we seen another crappie boat. Two guys were fishing minnows under corks and appeared to know the lake. I say that as they were right on top of our favorite mark.

It was very hot later in the morning as the little breeze there was died so we pulled up rods and went to look under some docks with the LiveScope. Checked 4 docks saw no fish but could count the pilings. Don
