But ya got out and got some. We had several shorts as well. Pretty morning for sure. Had the wind not been so nasty ig would have been perfect.

Glad you found some Mike. Camryn and I found about 10, 4 real good (for us) hiding from the wind in the river.

That's great Mike, glad to hear she's eager to get out theses days......I passed on fishing the weekend when seeing the wind report not change by Friday, however, did my 1st test run shrimp'n Friday night at Oak Hill....headed out at 8pm, had to swerve w/boat on Rt. 46 to miss a pack of hogs on road, get to river breeze ramp &a full parking lot. Anticipation goes up for a good night, ease out little north of the ramp, set out anchors/lights, good water flow & calm surface, see small ones come through, but many dart away from my black netting & if the lights were any further away these eyes would never see them, maybe it cast a shadow but only see bout 10 worthy 4"-6" shrimp till 11 & decide call it a nite. The full moon brought out every village !@#$^*....guy's speeding through the no wake zones, launching at the ramp tying boat up & cast netting off the dock while others were trying to load up, guy cussing up a storm trying to start his boat, while family looking on embarrassed...yep quite the 1st experience, never seen a ramp that busy, steady all night, would of guessed 50 boats in the area & didn't see anyone doing much, but partying...
    crappie down !
