Got a buddy coming from Louisiana in a few weeks and gotta find some feesh to put him on. Wont have time to take him to the brine this year so river and Monroe it will be. Hollar at me if yall gonna be out there, I will look for ya. Welp off to rehab

If it is as windy as they are forecasting we likely will be in the river too.

Well we cleared the bridge and dropped the trolling motot in and off we went. By the time we hit marker 2 the wind was terrible so swung around and pulled back north right under the 3 bridges and continued on heading that wsy. Picked up 13 crappie and a nice fat butterball catfish. Ended with 6 crappie and the catfish going home. Interesting part was passing the padfields resulted in nada a bite, all were caught on the stretches of cypress and trees on the banks. Cleaned even number of females and males. Had a great morning even though the wind was howling. Lots of people out enjoying the sunshine.

Mike, good to hear you and your wife got out again. Looking promising tomorrow I caught some double digit numbers this morning, most were shorts.
