    Fishing the river don't go to small due to the current, 1/8 oz. road-runners & like wise jigs with plastic curly tails or paddle tails should get you in the strike zone, color will be determined by the fish, but something W/chartreuses is always a good starting point, tight lines.....

    I'm in Aster now made a run to Lake Woodruf today and there were quit a few boats fishing the water between Woodruf and Dexter maybe to escape the wind? I pushed minnows but only caught a few, talked to a few locals it seems the cold front slowed the bite, h2o temps are on the rise I saw 61 this afternoon.

    Thanks Tom. Hope h2o keeps on warming. It be going the wrong direction here. Calling for 8 below tonight with -25 wind chill. High of 9 tomorrow with -2 wind chill. Might gas the boat up and hook it to the dog sled and leave a couple days early.
