The 60" will add leverage to stow and deploy, but may become a nuisance fishing around. I have a 60" on my bay boat which would sit a lot higher out of the water than a bass boat, and when I get shallow and raise it up it becomes a pain trying to cast around to skip baits under mangroves. Deeper water when I can set it down deeper no problem.
