Tidal people. Go when you can go, life gets in the way. But, understand shrimping is a bunch of little advantages we capitalize on, mother nature and Murphy's law. The moon can be a huge advantage for tidal. Shrimp like locomotion and love strong current which the moon events bring (New, Full and Blue). Some phases are great and some phases can make the current stagnate like. The week building before the moon is good especially 3-4 days before, I stay home the night of the full moon (tidal waters), and 2-3 days after are good, then the currents get slower and slower and we hit HALF MOON (absolute slowest current NOT GOOD), then the next week it builds, the following week it slows, and this pattern repeats. The stronger the current the more advantage.
