Save the small ones and take them to one of our saltwater intrusion lakes, i.e. crescent and feed them to the slabs. Don't laugh till you try it.

I saved the small ones, about a quart for black drum along with a dozen or so small crabs and a few mullet.I feed Crappie plastic, hair and feathers.
Glad to see you got some Danny , went out last week 10pm to 2am only got a handful. May try again on the next full moon.
Andy, this was probably our seventh or eight time going (RRB/HC/Pier) most we got to date
was 26 two time = "FINALLY" got enough to brag about (sort of)...
(And we'd sit there and watch others dipping away while we'd get maybe one every thirty minutes ...
I did build new "white" lights which seem to be more better etc, etc, etc, etc ..........,,.,.
I haven't really given a lot of thought to whether the moon is a good or bad thing for shrimping .....
I've heard both sides of the argument, and, I'm certainly no "informed" pro at discerning which is the better ....
Anyone with more informed experience in this area is certainly welcome to chime in = I'd sure like to know ......
Even though = we just go when we get the chance (weather) ...

Found this on Shrimping FB Page ......
Tidal people. Go when you can go, life gets in the way. But, understand shrimping is a bunch of little advantages we capitalize on, mother nature and Murphy's law. The moon can be a huge advantage for tidal. Shrimp like locomotion and love strong current which the moon events bring (New, Full and Blue). Some phases are great and some phases can make the current stagnate like. The week building before the moon is good especially 3-4 days before, I stay home the night of the full moon (tidal waters), and 2-3 days after are good, then the currents get slower and slower and we hit HALF MOON (absolute slowest current NOT GOOD), then the next week it builds, the following week it slows, and this pattern repeats. The stronger the current the more advantage.
