    i live on talquin. i target them occasionally with very mixed results. trolling once in front of blount creek caught three - 8, 7 and 7 pounds trolling on a kvd crankbait. but, usually not that big and often don't catch any doing that. sometimes catch one or two by accident while trolling curly jigs for crappie on light crappie tackle. hard to land with light wire hooks. always some at the mouth of blount creek, harvey mill creek, off of lakeview point, and in the deep open water out from oklawaha creek. problem is that there are not that many stocked.

    Nice, could of went to Talquin and went to eufaula instead. Big mistake, grass on the lake 😡. Lost lots of lightwire jigs, too. It'll be Talquin for the rest of the year.

    Pictures like this will make me call in and tell the boss, "I have an appointment in the morning". He always thinks I mean a doctors appointment, when I really mean a fishing appointment...
