With the storm passing to the east and north off the lake O it pushed the water at the south end of the lake 8 to 10 inches higher than normal, I was off last week and went fishing Saturday before last, at the end of the day I found a little honey hole. Caught three nice crappie and about ten blue gill. went back Thursday and with the same hole a 10x10 area caught three bass one 2 one 3 and one 4.6 and limited on crappie. went back Saturday and limited on crappie again. god willing and an o/k from the wife i'm gonna try again this Saturday.

I'm planning on being in Okeechobee about three weeks from now..staying a couple of days at a fish camp on the northeast tip of the lake..hope they are still biting that well then!! nice catch!! last time I was up there I found found bluegills on the beds in the canal fishing about 7 ft deep..Lot of fun!
