I got a 55lb from basspro that is supposed to have AP.
The indicator light will not come on, and I suspect I have a nonfunctional unit. In other words one without AP even though the foot pedal and base have the button and indicator light.
What should the decal on the control head say if it has AP?
Mine says digital maximizer.

You could try taking the cover off the head unit and see if there are any loose wire connections. Just a couple screws and the top cover will come off without issue. All Terrova's have the DM and has nothing to do with the AP function.

I called MK and found out it does not have AP, going back to BP tomorrow.
I was told they are no longer making this model.

Box & decal on box should say something like this:

I have both hand-held remote and foot control unit
Can do everything except follow a contour navonics.
