Sounds like FCC group is going to have some stiff competition, i have to sit on
sidelines - got to many "honey-do's" going on at Riverview Homestead (new kitchen
being built) and the "Little Woman" comes first - believe in old atage that when "ma-ma
is happy the whole family is happy" and i love to fish and not live in tent or dog house.

sorry man, didn't have time last night. We got there just as they were openin the gate, headed out & found that there were floatin islands out in the the lake. They weren't as bad as the eel grass just below the surface so you can't really see until it's already tangled in your line. Tried to start where I wanted but the floaters were horrible so we moved to clearer more trollin friendly waters & found some fish. Caught 23 total & kept 9 for eatin, most were in the 12-13"range, forgot my scale so didn't weigh them. Will try to post pics tonight after work.

Them floaters look like new islands. And yep the eel grass is horrible. Loks like you could get about 200 round bales per acre after its dried. Wounder if the cows would eat it. Think I had a bale in my boat when I got home.
