Yes sir. We had a good day. I believe with Talquin being so close to Pat Thomas school it really benefits fishermen especially those of this site. I was told that most cadets learn how to maneuver boats on this lake. It don't really dont bother me when the MAN checks me. I always know I'M legal. But when you take someone with you kinda get scared when they open the ice box. I tell every one I fish with to Make sure that rascal is 11 inchs. That way when he hits the ice and gets cold he wont shrink too much. Back in 08' when I first moved to Georgia I was fishing pretty heavy in the Keaton Beach area. I caught a trout that was 15 inchs according to the lid on my ice chest. About 4 hours later the MAN pulled beside us and measured that fish and he was just a hair over 14 inchs. $250 later I decided I might invest in a better measuring tool!! But all in all, Im kinda glad Talquin is patrolled regularly by the FWC.
The only "easy" day, was yesterday!
