    Default Misplaced keys

Have you ever misplaced your keys for your trailer lock??????

I had the misfortune to miss place the trailer lock key.

Lucky I had recorded the key number and kept the display board the lock came on. I called the 800 number and gave them the key number and they said that they would mail out a replacement set of keys. I asked if they needed my credit card number and they said NO!!!!!
What????? a company is going to send out something with out payment?????

I have received the keys in the mail and have confirmed that the keys work the locks.
NOW THAT IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AT IT'S GREATEST.
The lock is REESE Towpower PROFESSIONAL Maximum Anti-Theft Security Receiver/Coupler with High Security Key design.

I keep a set of boat keys in my car and a 2nd set of keys in a compartment on my boat. If there is a lock involved, I will loose the key. I let my wife take my car on a trip and I had to cut the lock off my boat to go fishing so now I have 2 or sometimes 3 sets stored around the boat or car.

Yes sir - I have keys stashed everywhere. As well as drain plugs. Tackle box, truck box magnetic stick ons, in the truck for boat & trailer, in the boat for truck. In the tackle box for all three. Getting to the lake at dark thirty in the AM and no boat keys or off the lake past dark thirty and locked up truck keys are not fun with it 40 degrees and raining. I earned that t-shirt along time ago.

Two trips to Lake Talquin and two sets of key trouble, first got to cabin and found keys to wife's car in my pocket. Second time launched boat and took trailer to park by cabin, no keys for lock(took reciever out of hitch) but boat keys on same chain 5 hours away in Leesburg, local shop had a new switch and keys, replaced and went fishing, only lost about three hours of fishing. Better prepared now(not really)--shu

    FOUND the key ring.
It slipped down along side of the drivers seat and went under the edge of the floor mat for the back seat.
Well now I have some spares.
Glad that everyone else has resolved their issues. Glad that mine is now behind me.
