Lake Woodruff can get messy

Took crappie pappy out Sunday morning, but better wind conditions did not necessarily lead to better fish. We caught 25 and kept 7 and very slow bite. Jigging in pads for these fish. Lots of mess in the run!

Oh forgot to mention...dad got the fish of the day and it was 15" and weighed 2lbs flat. Dad is starting to make me look bad, my biggest fish was half as big.

Yeah, it is thicker than I've ever seen it...then it thins out before you enter the lake.

I've seen it bad over there but not like that, good job on makin it out - I prolly woulda went & loaded back up.
