Nice catch. Hey im new to the area and to this site I live in mt dora. Can you tell me is there a public boat ramp to woodruff or do you have to put in at the fish camp. I put in at Deland but that seems like a long boat ride to woodruff.
    Thanks for you help

Hello crappieslayer, the best way to get into Woodruff is through Highland fish camp. They will give you a map to get to the lake, not too difficult. The people at that camp have always been honest with me about the bite. There are no direct ramps to the lake...not even one boat dock on the lake. I love it!

There's a $5 launch fee, but like CL said they are good people & sale minnows if you need them, never had any problems with vehicle or trailer parked at Highland .
