Lake Talquin is about 1 1/2 hours from Panama City and offers some great fishing...But don't believe a word that Chuck tells you. Here is my advice: I have been fishing Lake Talquin for the past years and have had a great time catching a lot of 12" crappie. I have a camper at Lake Talquin Lodge. Jarred is a good guide to show you the lake. We mainly long line. Some will push. The months of February thru May are great. This past January was also very good, but it was because we had a warm month.
