3 weeks from today, Lake Talquin will start being infiltrated with cdc members....Gonna be a blast!!!

I only count 18 people so far....Where is everyone at?????

I just got off the phone with Pat at LTL and she still has cabins/motel rooms available for Slabfest weekend. I also talked with Hooker and the fishing has drastically improved over the past few days. Within the next 3 weeks, these fish should be in open water and easy to catch. Out of all the fish we caught last weekend, these fish were as healthy as I have ever seen them for this time of the year. Even the 8"-10" fish were just fat and football shaped. If this is any indication to what next month will bring, it will be another AWESOME November!!!

Hope to be coming down from Northern Michigan toward the end of this week (10/26/13). I've been going to do this for a number of years finally saved the money so I'll see you toward the end of this month, lord willing.
