    Default Woodruff Area

Started out fishin the lake in the morning & only had 5 by noon, but decided to troll the river back to the boat ramp & never made it there til' sunset because the action was literally at every bend, made a turn, fish on, ect...lost count in the 30's but took home 18, no real secret bout 40 other boats in the river once the wind kick in mid-day, alot were catching them on the banks. All-in all one good day!

Alright Jeff, I know exactly where you got those little pretties. Excellent report and pics! Glad you found a way to enjoy the water despite the wind.

Good bunch of fish, spent a few very good days there. Some things haven't changed.

Awesome, Thanks for the report. I was thinking of heading over there this afternoon, if I can get finished up with work in time.

I'm sure I would have blown right by them on the way to the lake. Well, more like "putted by" with the silly manatee zone in the river.

That would be Highlands fish camp, however, when pickin up minnows the locals in front of me said they were goin to powell's, said the bite was on over there, so I guess the bottom line is the fish are in transition to the back waters.
