    Default Help with Cane Syrup

Hello. I lived in Florida and Georgia for about five years. At that time I fell in love with Sugar Cane syrup. I grew up in Missouri and currently live there. We have sorghum syrup which is very good, but I love cane syrup and I'm almost out.

Can anyone point me in a direction to find some? I've searched the Internet to no avail. A phone number. Name. Anything would help.

    Thanks.

Please PM or just respond here if you've got an idea.

Also- sorry to clutter up your board with non-fishing posts.

Try hitting up the guys on the Louisiana board. Lots of cane syrup makers there. I used to get some from a small farm in Morganza. I am sure they can get ya pointed straight.

Don't know of anyone here that boils cane juice anymore. I still have a mule powered cane grinder that was my grandfather's. In the stores around here the ALAGA brand is decent. It is cane syrup mixed with corn syrup. Pure cane is better. Awarm piece of fried mullet dredged through cane syrup will make your tounge slap your brains out.

May be. But you don't have life assurance. Anyway that's death insurance.
