I could tell many stories similar to Linda's about the folks I have met on crappie.com...I meet someone new at every event and have a phone full of numbers of members I consider friends. Looking forward to meeting many more in the future. It was my pleasure to meet and fish with the man that created all of this for us and he is indeed a class act..Talks a tad bit different from us but he'll fit in once he gets down here for a while....Happy and safe Holidays to all!!!

About time I seen this thread, right!

I want to thank everyone for their kind comments. But it's not me, it's you. You all make the site what it is, and all of you are the ones that make this such a wonderful place to be. I would be here all alone starting new threads with no response, PMing myself, and getting no replies. If it was not for all you wonderful members we'd have nothing.

Thank you CG1 for taking us fishing. And everyone else that has as well, TnT (he's dynamite) , Speckanator (thank Susan too), and the countless others that I've fished with from here. Thank you Fishergurl for selecting such a fine man, thank you Terry for bringing us those minners, thank your flycaster for watching over the FL flock. And thank everyone else that participates and helps with events. Thank you for reading and posting here. We really are a wonderful family. Merry Christmas all.

And here's the proof that Terry did indeed bring us those minners. What a great guy. Thanks Terry.

Thanks to Crappie.com, I feel I know someone in just about every town between Ga and Fl. If I had a problem traveling, these friends are just a phone call away. Made many new friends in other states and learned about fishing in those states. Good family....this Crappie.com

Ahhhhh .... there is my main man (and I don't mean Billbob... :-) Yes, great vision Slab! I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you and Billbob. Love, love, love this forum and the people.

I want to say a special thank you to Huntinslabs too because without his advice we wouldn't have even come over to the Monroe area this year. When I thought of Monroe, I envisioned a big windy, wavey lake surrounded by Orlando. Not really accurate but that's what came to mind to me, but Huntinslabs told us about some RV Parks in the area and also told us there was always the river to explore if the lake was rough. So Terry and I came over and checked out the area when we got back to Florida in October and we were hooked! We have had such a great time exploring the river, fishing the lakes, and especially meeting so many people in the area in person, all of whom we met because of this forum. So thanks again Huntinslabs... and btw Terry got me a shrimping net for Christmas... :-)
