    Default The wonderful crappie.com family

I want to say that the new friends along with good fun has been a great experience for my husband and i. I want to thank SLAB for creating a website that has allowed people all over the country to do just this very thing as well.

A great example--this morning as i am on the way to Lake Monroe with the toon--i planned on stopping on the way just after 6 am for minnows in Sorrento FL.The bait shop there had changed the hours of opening until 8 am through the week. NO MINNOWS!!!!
WOW! I really like a little something live on with that jig!

Just last year Fishergurl (Ginny) had joined and she and her husband (Terry) were camping 5 miles up river from Lake Monroe. I had her phone number, so i phoned at 6:30 knowing she would be up and said -------WHATS HUBBY DOING? I explained my minnow plight to her and she immediately said Terry will pick some up at their bait shop and head down river in the boat and bring them to you. I said GREAT and explained where we were going to be in Lake Monroe. Shortly after launching the boat and getting our jigs in the water--arrives Terry delivering minnows and anXious to meet SLAB and BILLBOB.

WHERE ELSE CAN YOU FORM THESE KIND OF GREAT RELATIONSHIPS WITH GREAT PEOPLE LIKE TERRY AND FISHERGURL(Ginny) but CRAPPIE.COM.?

THANK YOU SLAB , AGAIN FOR THIS GREAT SITE, AND MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND SHARON!

If ANYONE ELSE HAS A TRIBUTE TO SLAB TO SHARE--FEEL FREE---------

Great people = great fun. Merry Crappiemas to all

The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
