thank you jackie53, well written and explained..........we have not worked that
much yet with the 3 wire ala rig, been working on right wire, trying to stay away
from snap swivels, utilize flouracarbon 6 lb with about 1 - 2" leader from wire...seems
to work well vs wire-snap hookup to jig head. Also working with 64th jig heads into
    #4 hook, (hand pour)
Florida has more stained water than clear, spring fed lakes....also depth is no where
near what you work with in Northern States.

    Again, thanks for your thoughts

Yes we like to make and catch fish on our homemade lures.Have been trying different setups. We have been using the 1/48 oz heads but have discovered Meatgetters on this site crappie.com minner critters no weight think this is really going to be the ticket.Yes we made them for fishing our deep lakes.Have been fishing the White river (very shallow) and clear (trout waters) has to be light. We also have some bottom land lakes stained to muddy they worked pretty good their.Have made the last ones out of JB-weld very light and also have shortened the wires from 6" to 3 " and 3 wires has really been the ticket up in the clear trout waters can't keep them on the shelf. The sky is the limit on this bait has opened up new doors to work with another tool to catch fish and larger fish too. Thanks for the posts and let us know how they work.Just sent some down on the gulf for redfish and trout might try them in your waters in Florida!!!!!
