What went wrong this weekend?
Was there a cold front on Sunday? The fishing was terrible. I fished for 9 hours and kept one medium sized shellcracker. I caught about 10 dinks. I was getting bites from 8-10 am right before the rain. After the rain stopped the sun came out, it got extremely windy and I couldn’t buy a bite. Was there a cold front? It was 87 degrees at noon. Anyone catch anything this weekend? I'm trying to figure this out

Sunday I scooped up some grass shrimp along the shoreline weeds and used them with a small hook. From about 5:00 PM until about 7:00 PM I had a blast catching bluegills. Most were small dinks, but it was more about the bite for me than trying to catch something for the table. Previously I had been using yellow-tailed worms and the bluebills were not very interested in the worms.

I reckon that's why they call it fishing and not catching.
