wish i could help. Im sure some of these guys that know the area will chime in.

Not a big deal just thought I would throw it out there and see if I got any bites...

The best I could come up with is a local Polk county paper ( TheLedger.com) It wont cover East Lake but it covers a whole lotta other areas very close. I have always found their reports good with local info and usually fairly recent reports.

The fish camp is a great place, lots to do and great fishing, I lived on the Toho chain for over 15years. here is a topo map of the lake.http://lakewatch.ifas.ufl.edu/Revise...OsceolaMap.pdf as you can see its just a big round lake. there are plenty of pads and canals. go and have fun there are some locals that live at the fish camp so ask lots of questions, Great Resturant and bar, local entertainment on weekends, Air boat rides Thumbs Up go on a night airboat ride and get real close to some huge gators. their rentals boats were pretty good.
