    Default small lake near starke


    there are two small lakes just west of starke fla of hiway 100 , they are connected and the eastmost one is very shallow .
    does anyone know anything about those lakes ?
    i fished there in the mid 80's with great success and would like to go back , i live in south ga

    more details like the names of the lakes would prob help. I know of lake sanford, but i think its really low

    i just figured out how to find the name of that lake , i went to my map and one of the street names is the name of the lake

    lake samson , and it connects to lake rowell ( sp ? ) which is a very shallow lake . very !

    yeah thats it, sampson. I jst got the names mixed up. I went once and prob wont go back again. the lake was relly low and slap full of hydrilla. Hydrilla isnt to bad to fish over but the lake was so low that you were basically in the hydrilla the whole time. If your gonna go to that area you mind as well just go to lake Alto or Sante Fe, or one of the lakes on Camp Blanding.
