I carry a Case and have for all of my life almost, since about 5 or 6 years old. Went to the Court House some time ago and when went through security they made me put my knife under a bush on the outside. While I was in the Register of Deeds office being sworn in as a Notary Public some sucker stole my Case from under the bush. It felt like I was undressed until could get to a store to buy a new one. If you want Justice stay out of the courthouse.

In my pocket I've always carried a swiss army-type knife since back in my cub scout days, still do. My favorite knife is my Ka-Bar lock-blade folding hunting knife (late 70's, early 80's vintage - wood handles, brass bolsters, looks similar to the classic Buck folding hunter). Have always carried it with me hunting and carried it every day while I was in the Navy. The blade is 3 3/4", so I used to be able to carry it on airlines - back when blades could be carried provided they were less than 4".

Nowadays, my everyday pocket knife is still a swiss army-type knife (the $10 variety) and I carry a Craftsman multitool on my belt. The Ka-Bar only comes out during hunting season.

This is the one I currently carry. I decided on this one because it sharpens easily, holds an edge real good and, and doesn't cost so much that I would cry if I lost it.

Kershaw Corral Creek Lockback. 3 3/8" closed lockback. AUS-6A stainless clip blade and Zinc die-cast alloy handles inset with cross-grooved ABS scales for sure grip. Matte finish stainless bolsters. Lanyard hole.

I have carried a packet knife as long as I can remember, right now I have a cute little curved gerber and an assited open Kershaw. And a Buck for dress up. Yes If my skirt has a pocket, it has a knife in it.

Thumbs up Old Timer 3" pocket knife!

Sharp as a razor and I keep it that way. Been carrying a pocket knife 24/7 as long as I can remember. Only time I've been without it was my only plane ride to Wisconson and I was lost for the entire weekend because I did not have my knife. The guys that work with me are required to have one also, "if you borrow mine all the time you need your own". I dress deer, dress squirrells, clean fish, dress game birds and most of all eat vienna sausage, sardines etc.:D

There are two things to aim for in life: First, to get what you want; and after that, to enjoy it. Only the wisest of mankind achieves the second. Author unknown, but I like it!

case is the one for me. Carried one all my short 36 years. Sometimes I put my "stuff" in my pockets in a hurrie and forget it! Soon as I realize I don't have, I know it is going to be a bad day!

    Default My Knife

Spyderco Native w/ CPMS30V........A few years ago I went hunting for a new knife and before buying I researched quite a bit. I wound up ordering 3 of these just so if I lost one the new one would be there. I also don't have to worry about adjusting to a new one. I don't like serated blades. I use mine for all kinds of game cleaning and cutting. It feels good and fits my hand well while skinning and cutting up deer and hogs as well as ocassional squirrels and turkeys. I keep it clipped to my pocket. I also carry a small micra Leatherman.
