I toted my Case Sodbuster for years and finally got away from carrying it. The dang knife was wearing out pants pockets plus carbon steel is now something that's very hard to find anymore and I didnt want to loose it. I still pick it up on the weekends and tote it then, just not during the week much anymore. It takes AWHILE getting used to NOT having a knife on you though.

Kinda funny, isn't it ? What we have to carry along with ourselves to feel "normal". I always carry a 2-4 inch knife (carrying a Gerber now) AND my Chap-stick.

I carry a Swiss Army knife. A cheap one, cost around $12.00 and well worth it. Can pick them up on ebay for around $6.00 and thay have a life-time warranty. Love it more than any other knife iv'e ever owned. It has a phillip head screw driver, flat head screw driver, tooth pick, tweezers, wire stripper, & 2 blades. It sharpens easy and cuts good. Oops cut my finger, told you it cuts good.

I guess I'll jump in here too..I always carry one and I won't even walk 300 feet up to the mailbox with out it. Guess habits formed more then 60 years ago are hard to break. Don't know what some of these young folks would do if they had to skin an elephant or a moose or something on the way up to get the paper. :p

I carry a nice little lock blade about the size of my pinky finger. It'a a Browning of course.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

Received a nice Kershaw assist-open knife about two years ago and love it! Carry it all the time. Didn't know if I'd like the assist-open feature but don't think I could live without it now. The patially serrated blade is a nice feature too.
Model is Kershaw Ken Onion 1620GRYST.
Kinda like this one but with the partially serrated edge.

I've carried Case, Old Timer, Swiss Army knife, Buck, Puma, Gerber, and Leatherman. Most usually lately, I've always got a folding Buck knife and a Leatherman on my person. That Leatherman is one handy piece of equipment.
