I have several that I could carry but keep a small case must of the time. Pisses the wife off when I pull it out at a steak house cause theirs wouldn't cut melted butter. Wouldn't know how to act without one. A sad story is that the most expensive knife I own is a folder made by a former friend that does nice work on fixed blades, and thought that his folders would be as good. $275 and the blade now wiggles after cutting plastic banding on a pallet I was unloading. I feel like using it for a sinker when fishing some time.

I carry a small/slim swiss knife, has a short 2" blade, another blade that has a screwdriver/file, and folding sissors, no toothpic or tweezers on this model. use to carry the model with the toothpic & tweezers, but like this one better as the main body is metal vs the red plastic. blade keeps a good edge and meets my needs, doesn't feel like a piece of lead in my pocket. I use my old ones on the boat as they are small, light and have a keyring attachment point so I can use the stretchy key retainers to clip 'em to the bottom of the seat, they're handy and out of the way.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

sounds like me, my grandpa snapped the tip off a oldtimer when I was 4 and gave it to me when we was trout fishing. I got a picture from that exact day too. People will say hey you broke the tip off that knife. All i say is I wouldn't take that tip back for nothing in this world. I've since retired that knife the day of his funeral the last day i carried it.

now i got a knife i carry sometimes as a conversation piece is my great grandpa's knife that he used to open corn bags when making moonshine. you talking about sharp when i got it no nobody had touched it since him. swear you could split a frogs hair 9 ways with it.

I've carried a gerber with a pocket clip for 20 to 25 years and broke the clip so I retired it two years ago and carried an assortment of other knives after that. Then I found out that gerber garauntees their knives for life and they sent me a new clip. It's fixed and good as new. Thanks Gerber folks!!

I carried my case sodbuster knives for many years and wore many a pants pocket out toting it. I dont carry that knife anymore since a carbon blade knife is harder to find these days but I do have a small Gerber (clip style) that I'll keep in my pocket. The problem I have with a small knife is I've never been able to "feel" it in my pocket (by it's weight) and have a hard time trying not to loose it by leaving it laying somewhere.

I carry a Spyderco Para-Military 2 at work and a Queen Cutlery #64 Canoe the rest of the time. Don't really have any sentimental knives like everyone else...

I have carried a pocket knife for about as long as I can remember. Over the years I have collected many knives from relatives and friends. I always have a pocket knifr in each front pocket. Today I have an Old Timer in my left pocket ,given to me by my daughters for my 30th birthday and an old bone handled Case in my right pocket given to me by my father a long time ago.

I always carry a pocketknife. Today a Buck canoe, other times a trapper, muskrat, toothpick, etc.etc. One thing I hate is serrated blades.
