Two fish and one worm

I was fishing years ago and a small Catfish bit my worm and it some how let the hook and bait go out it's gill when another one gabbed it. I caught both fish. Now how strange is that?

I did that once on a Rattle Trap when small bass were schooling. Guess one tried to rip the trap out of the other's mouth. GTT

I caught two whiteboards on a streamer fly the same way - out the gill of the first one and grabbed by the second one.

That happens a lot with crankbaits and multiple trebles. I saw my mom cast a 3 treble hook minnow bait hook 3 Bass but only landed 2 once. Bass are just like a pack of dogs and will try to take away the others food! How many times on clear waters while Bass fishing have you seen several following the Bass on your line ?
