Toad attack

This happened years ago but I still crack up over it,My brother and I were catfishing one night,we were sitting on cushions next to the waters edge.I spotted a small watersnake swimming along the waters edge,My brother will panic at the thought of a snake. he spotted the snake and started throwing rocks and everything he could grab at the snake,The snake swam off but my brother was so upset his night of fishing was ruined,he finally calmed down a bit and sat back down,,he kept watching the bank for the snake,I moved the gas lantern and he couldn't see as good,I spotted the snake again and watched it swim up to the lantern,the snake swam right up almost at his feet and stopped,I pointed down at the snake and asked him,,Is that the snake?he saw the snake,,he rolled backwards on his back ,then onto his side,threw one arm out to crawl up the bank and capped his hand down over a toad that had came looking for bugs from the lantern..the toad started jumping under his hand and the rest was sheer panic.he screamed and rolled the other direction and started crawling on his hands and knees to the truck,he made it to the truck and locked the doors,I was laughing so hard I was in pain,he refused to get out of the truck and I had to gather out gear and load the truck,I always bring up the night he was attacked by a toad during a catfishing trip,thats been 40 years ago and I still remind him of the toad attack,I will never forget that night
