Interesting story, can`t remember where saw it, but did see photos that LOOKED convincing... during the mid 80`s? a gentleman`s wife decided he spent too much time fishing offshore in Fla, and asks for a divorce, which was granted. Accepting she was gone, he goes on another charter and in front of several friends consigns his wedding ring to the briny deep. A couple of yrs later, she has a change of heart, and reunites with him, figuring she can put up with his fishing as it was about his worst fault. Just before they reweds, he goes back out on 1 more charter, figuring to hence forth to limit it to a trip a yr. He hooks and lands a 400 lb marlin? and embedded on it`s bill is his ring, complete with the date of their first wedding inside the band...he let the fish go for returning his ring...
