    good to hear U got the 50 channel receiver as it will lock on faster than my 16 channel 2007 model.
    I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.....

    Got a 997 from the Humminbird outlet store a couple of weeks ago and it came with the 50 channel. I was expecting it to come with the 16, but when it came to the house it had a sticker on the box with the Upgraded 50 channel GPS, and once I opened it thats what was in there.

    congrats i was thinking the same thing

    I am a little early to work on my problem as i allways say if my boat dont float i dont fish and we have 20 inches of ice on the lake. i have a 3 yr. old matrix 97 that wont p.u.a gps reading. i wonder if i shoud try a new antena before sending my unit to be checked out (250 bucks).i wonder if anybody has this problem Ron
