I had the same problem come up with my Wheather module. I found that if I truned the 777c(bow mount) off and moved to another location that when I turned the 777c back on it would not read the Wheather module. I found out if I turn the 777c on first and then powered up the 1197 it would pick up the Wheather module.
Don't know that will help but it's what I'm doing at this time. May be a fix out there somewhere I'm not sure.
    Hope this helps some.

Thanks for the info but I am sending it back again today. They are supposed to replace with a new unit. If it has the same problem I will try what your method.
