I sure would like to take a ride in the shuttle. But, at my age, I would probably develop lumps in my pants....

I wished you had all that hooked up on your boat this weekend.Maybe I could hook up with you and see it all at work.Maybe you should get a patent lined up on this with one of the bigger companies like garmin.Never know this day and time people would buy it if they thought they would catch more fish and win more tournaments.Have you ever been in the tackle store up there cant remember the name of the road it is on but it is a White house kinda at the split in the roads. It has a nice pond out from it usually has geese setting on it.I seen it a couple weeks ago when I was up there.Didnt get to stop since we was more working and pressed for time to get the blind ready for duck season.Might try and check them out if they are opened this weekend when I am up there duck hunting.

No patent. Big boats already use this unit with cameras. I am the first to use pc input. Been working with Garmin to get the imaging to show up on the screen. They been helpful. I like the challenge.

Give me a shout when you get here.

    Tom,
Are you still working with CruzPro on their depth sounder. I have been thinking along the same track as you on a PC based boat system. Seems like you are makeing good progress. How come you are not using your Motion PC for a monitor? That is the route I am loooking at.Sure would like to see your system up and running on the water.Take care and Happy Thanksgiving !!

You should look into a Intel solid state hard drive. It would speed that baby up nice. There is no faster hard drive out there. Will run you about 800.00 though.

What are you doing for moisture control and cooling?

Sprayed down with component protector. Has cooling fan. Will remove unit when not in use. I got to come up with vent for fan. Prob down thrust pipe. I am open for suggestions..
