    Default Istalled External HB Puck

Got the puck out tonight and wired it up to my 787c2i and these are my preliminary findings. The GPS acquires satellites faster but the refresh rate still stinks. Put the puck in my hand with the 15ft. or so of cord and walked around the boat with it. It updated the position but it was still working on it 5 sec.s after I had stopped moving. Atleast I am acquiring sat.s in less time than it takes to get to the grocery store now. LOL!

Thanks to you guys that responded about my questions regarding the puck. You were dead on. At least I didn't have to pay for it. :D

Still awaiting the software to update the refresh rate.

    Thanks for the experiment.

Once we get the faster refresh rate we will be set. I'm very happy with my 787 otherwise.
