I'm pretty sure they make a switch that you could use but... if you have the transducer mounted on the stern that is where you'll be reading from. In other words, if you move the unit from the console to the bow and your over a brush pile you won't be able to see it until the back of your boat is over it. That will be confusing as heck.

The switch I'm talking about ( Fishfinder Switch ) will allow you to use 2 units with 1 transducer.

I would just go with 2 transducers if it were me.
