    Default Cane Pole

    Guys,

I've read as many of Cane Pole's posts and replies as possible over my short time here at CDC. I don't know if I will ever get to run across him out fishing or at the tackle store but I hope to someday. He reminds me of one of those everyday guys you see in a movie that is "wicked smart" but just a normal guy helping a few people out when he can. Oh....and in the movie, he would discover an alternative fuel and save the world or invent a cure for some crazy disease. And to him, it would be "No big deal".

Cane, You have no idea who I am but you have helped me many times and don't even realize it. Thanks for everything you do here. I'm tuned in, waiting, listening and learning.

    Thanks Again,
    Buzz

I bought a trolling motor from Cane Pole a couple of years ago and went down to pick it up. I will say 2 thing about the ol'boy. They broke the mold when they made him and he is about the most interresting individual I have ever had the pleasure of having a conversation with.

I would have hated to be his parent! God what an imagenation that guy has! Great mind! As a matter of fact he's gonna be my "write in" vote for president this year! :D

I guarantee you if you ever get a chance to meet the guy the experience will be will worth the gas even at today's prices!

It works. I was also able to export my track file (GPX) then import the GPX into Oziexplorer and see my "trail". This sure helps when you forget what recording is what and where.

I got Deep View Viewer working and also Yellowfin Viewer working and also HBSI fill converter working. It works with latest HB upgrades with XP Pro, however there are some issues with Vista. Had trouble with Yellowfin install. Did not get any help from HB forum. I figured it out by myself. I get impatient sometimes.

Yellowfin is awesome. I finally decided to do something with this stuff. Don't take me long to get it going once I am motivated.

    Thanks for sharing.
