My maps 76 C has worked right the last 3 trips. Go guess it was just a bad day for me on the 24th.

This happened to me back in January when I had my 76 in the truck and was going down the road. It happened several times, and never since. I was thinking it was interference from the trucker's CBs on the highway. Again, no problems in months, WAAS or not.

My granddaughter's boyfriend hooked my GPS 72,76 and my new GPSMap 76Cx to his PC, I have a mac and no series port, and downloaded all the up-dates and etc. here Garmin: Updates & Downloads and I have not had any troubles since even with WAAS enabled. Try it, maybe it will cure your ills. You back home and fishing DI? Glad you made it back.
