    question. when u see something on the 997 u want to waypoint how do u get back over the top of it to make a way point. is it easy to get bsck over it to mark it.

    You don't have to go to the spot to mark it with a way-point. Just stop the screen, move the cursor to the spot and hit the "MARK" key. a way-point will be created over the spot. It's accurate too.

    I like mine a lot and do not want to get rid of it. good product,and good service when I goof up,or break something, Humminbird has taken care of any problem
