    Question Navonics question


    Where can I see the difference in the Navonics premium south 07, and the Navonics premium south 08? What's the difference, and is the 08 worth $50?

    I just bought the 07 version for the east rather than buy the 08. I was told by the salesman that the 08 added 200 lakes and more detail to one lake in the state I live in. The added lakes are in places that I do not anticipate fishing. The lake in my area, I never fish either.....so it was a no brainer for me to just purchase the 07 and save $50.00. The salesman should be able to let you know what lakes and detail have been added to the 08 to justify whether or not to spend the extra money.

    Look on there site. I don't think the 08 map will be any better than the 07 for you. but it will show what lakes are new and if say Sardis is HD or just a standard one. I have a south card. I can save a screen shot of a section get me a waypoint .
    Then someone that has the new map can do the same thing and you can compare.

    I would like to get that 3D for the east but it cost $200 at basspro.
    People may not remember exactly what you did or what you said,

    Cableas has them, navionics has a turn your old card in a get a rebate check 299.00 get 100.00/ 199.00 get 75.00 / so on. That helps.
