Thread: What do use to get the best map definition?

My last thread started heading in this dirction so before the information became entangled within another, I'll post this thread in case someone does a search for simliar info. later.

What kind of software is avaliable out there to maximize the full capablity of your unit? Some people have posted about MapCreate 6 and other software programs that enhance thier ability to locate where they are and thus better figure out where the fish may be.

Navionics maps gold?, plantnium?, Hot maps?, MapCreate 6?, and others?

What is the difference between these maps and what are your most effective tools.

Everyone wants 1ft. contour lines and high definition maps.

I get my updates from the manufacturer, as most fisherman aren't hackers and do not write programs.

I am always looking for upgrades for software...

Usually it is cheats, hacks,or company updates.
