    Default Cane Pole

I have 1197c SI at console. Was planing to get 1157 for the front. 1197 has video out domestic NTSC, International PAL,PAL M,PAL N, NTSC-J. I would like to get a waterproof 8 or 10in. monitor. Do you have any suggestings for one around 1000.00 instead of geting the 1157 and saving a little money.

Vartech makes marine grade monitors and also Raymarine. I am familiar with these two. I don't know the prices, but they ain't cheap. There are others out there, but I am not familiar with them. I will see if I can Google some up.

Wish I had room for the 1197. I could feed my laptop and record and playback stuff. Nice units.

I wish these guys would make a smaller unit. I would install a micro IPX computer on my boat and do away with a lot of stuff. We are headed this way with marine stuff.

I Looked at Vartech 8.5in. was 3800.00 Wow and Raymarine big bucks too. May have to get the 1157 and interlink the 2. Unofficial Humminbird Forum Guys have a HB Sonar Data File Converter for PC.

Yep. I knew they were expensive. They top notch stuff. Makes me appreciate the Humminbird prices...:D

I have heard about the converter. I think Pete (Shilored) sent me a copy of the file converter. I haven't had time to do much. Painting (sucks). Trying to wrap things up at the house before March. Never happen. Having our Hardwood floors resurfaced. There goes two 1197's.
