    I have two Lowrance 520c who has the best map for the money Hot maps or Lowrance ?????And who has the best deal on them????Thanks for any info

    The HotMaps I got is supposed to have Lorance mapping as well . I think they called it inhanced mapping.

    Default HOT maps

    i have a 522c and it came with the Lowrance maps loaded. I bought the Hot Maps Premium 2007 and i'm disappointed with it. On Wilson and Wheeler lakes in Alabama, there is no detail in the backs of the creeks or anything less that 6'. It just shows the body of water with no detail at all. I'm sending it back for a refund. The Lowrance map does not have the 1 foot contours but it covers all the water.

    It depends on the lake. Check out Navionics web site and see what they have for your lake. If they have the enhanced maps, they are really nice. You can often find the previous year's chips at a pretty good price at the end of the year.

    Are any of these available on a miniSD card for a Garmin handheld? Or is this something that I put on my computer and download onto a miniSD?
