    I hate that gps. I bought one, took it back within hours and went with the user friendly Etrex Vista.

    I bought the software for my region but cant get it to come up when I'm on the lake. What am I doing wrong ?

    I'm telling ya, that thing is the reason I thought a GPS was hard to work. Go back to Academy sports a go with the VISTA.

    If you see it on your screen just head the boat towards it. As you get closer keep zooming in and you can go right to it. To go to the next, if its not on your screen just zoom out until it is and repeat above.

    It's an H20 . I went to the Lowrance site they gave in the manual and ordered the chip for the se region.

    If you call Lowrance here is the first things they will have you do.
    Go here http://primus.lowrance.com/support/r...=5000#Goto3194
    Page down to ifinder h2O. Remove the map card from the unit then follow the instructions for a hard reset.

    When done with the reset turn the unit off and reinstall the card. Turn it back on and the card should automatically load.

    Should I be able to pull up the maps after this ? It still says no MMC card installed.

    It should load automatically. If its not seeing the card I guess you will have to call Lowrance.
