I mentioned earlier in this thread that I just purchased Active Target, but don't have it installed yet. I have seen a ton of videos of Active Target and Livescope and it seems that by setting the depth closer to twice the actual water depth, you get a nicer return and a fish that looks "round" versus looking stretched out and tall. Obviously I'm going to have to get through the learning curve myself, but this is what I'm leaning towards doing, so it doesn't hurt my feelings any if the unit does produce more power and find targets better with that setting.
