Thread: New at this trying to learn

I mark waypoints & use side & down imaging with a helix 9 at the console interlinked to a helix 7 at bow that i use to mark waypoints i find when at the bow & show previously marked ones too. I have my garmin livescope on a d i y pvc pole & do a lot of searching with it while sitting up front in a portable bench seat stand & it works pretty good. I don't mark waypoints on my livescope & when i move to previously marked ones i just reduce the range on the helix 7 as i get close & have no problem at all finding them. Works great for me.
